We are very excited to launch a new series on YouTube called Field Notes. It will feature live musical performances from the field (sometimes a literal field), and aims to harmonize musical inspiration with the sonic visuals of natural landscapes. Similar to field notes made with a pen and paper (rather than melodies) you can expect these to be raw, improvised, and intimate.

This is the first of several series to launch on Amber Culture in the coming weeks. We hope that you enjoy engaging with them as much as we enjoy creating them.

Here's the first installment of Field Notes, dredged from the archives. Max Weigert and AJ Worek perform on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, just outside the ancient city of Akko, Israel. The words are drawn from the Fire Tablet by Bahá’u’lláh.
